For 20 years, "Coach Launy" has been training goalies of all ages, and skill levels. From house league, rep hockey, junior, college, and the NHL, he considers it a privilege to be on the ice teaching students and sharing his knowledge and passion about goaltending.
"When it comes to Goalie Coaching in South Eastern Ontario, arenas across Canada and beyond, How Can Stop The Puck Goaltending Help You Achieve Your Saves?"
- Coach Launy
Stop The Puck Goaltending believes in teaching goalies the latest techniques. In today's game, Butterfly is a necessity. Save Selection with proper Tracking may require a goalie to stand up to make a save. The "RVH" also has its time and place. It's one thing to have the tools. Knowing when to use them is central to our Coaching Philosophy.
All of our Coaches place a strong emphasis on Constructive Language during our Goalie training sessions in order to help develop a more positive mindset for games. In every drill, STPG notes the importance of "Hockey IQ", and to treat each rep like the other team is swarming the crease for a potential rebound.
Stop The Puck's Goalie Coaching staff have been selected and mentored by our founder. Their experience in Junior and coaching is our strength, as they are dedicated to challenging goalies with practical drills that will help them address any elements they want to focus on in their game.
Whether it's a team practice, private or semi-private lesson, or our clinics our goalie instructors are ready to customize a lesson to help you "Stop The Puck".
